Introduction

Day1T1 is a companion tool for people with Type 1 Diabetes. We respect your privacy and explain here what we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

Data we collect

• Account data: your email address (for OTP login).
• Health data you enter: glucose readings, meals & carbs, insulin doses, exercise, hypo events, DKA assessments, lab results, medications, vitamins, notes.
• Meal-analysis data (when used): food photos, descriptions, or barcodes you submit for carb estimation.
• Notifications: to schedule reminders locally.

How we use it

To run the app's features: logging, advisory calculations, reminders, reports, and AI analysis. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

Where data is stored

• Locally on your device (on-device database) — the primary store.
• On the server (Supabase): account & authentication data. Meal-analysis input is sent to an AI service via our server for analysis only.
• Backups you export can be password-encrypted (AES-256).

Third parties

Supabase (authentication & backend) · an AI provider (only to analyze meals when you use that feature). We share your data with no one else.

Your rights — account & data deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all data in-app: Settings → Account → "Delete account & data". This erases your data from the device and the server and cannot be undone. Or email our support.
